Education is the key to success and lays the foundation for the growth of a person. It contributes to the present and helps shape a better tomorrow. Other than providing for basic necessities, we also provide for education.
Pyare Lal Nand Kishore Galwalia Charitable Trust , Located at Kashipur is the philanthropist leg of the SPNG Group that grants education to children, up to the post-graduation level. We ensure that education is especially provided to the poor and also provide for employment opportunities in our manufacturing units.
At indostar we believe in healthy, steady and lasting growth which is fulfilled with healthy and happy employees.
We conduct regular health checkups and ensure medical facilities at the workplace. We also extend the health services to the family members of our employees. Medical and accident insurance coverage is also provided for.
Furthermore, we recently renovated and expanded ‘Kushth Ashram’ at Kashipur in Uttrakhand, which provides shelter to leprosy patients.
Indostar is located in the blissful land of Uttrakhand, popularly known as Devbhoomi or the land of God. The region is located at the foothills of the Himalayan ranges and is surrounded by glaciers, the holy river Ganga, dense forests and fresh breeze.We are blessed to be part of this rich state where we have established multiple manufacturing units and are able to also spread the produce overseas.
Indostar has been honoured with the ‘PARYAVARAN PURASKAR’ for serving the environment with utmost dedication and sincerity. We actively contribute to the welfare of nature and also during natural disasters.
Our environment friendly attitude is reflected in our work culture. We operate a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Effulent Treatment Plant.
The root of any migration increase is the lack of desired employment opportunities and absence of favourable facilities in that region.
The soul of any region is its local workforce and we being native to Uttrakhand believe in uplifting the region by providing employment to our locals. 60% of our workforce is from Uttrakhand and we are proud to have curbed migration from the region in the last three decades.
